JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
To assist the Operations and Business Development Manager (Manager) with a wide variety of tasks, functions and projects so as to free the Manager to focus on Business Development & other Company objectives
Communicating within the company on behalf of the Manager various requests, instructions or memorandum of information.
Communicating with trading partners on behalf of the Manager various requests for information, offers, negotiations, or provision of information
Gathering numeric or other informational data and organizing such data and presenting it for easy review by the Manager, sometimes in Excel and sometimes in Word or other programs.
Assist with the preparation and maintenance of product costings in Excel
Preparation of first-time Purchase Orders for new products and conveying product specifications inter-departmentally
Facilitate the implantation of new policies or procedures within the company
Manage / coordinate projects between others within and / or outside of the company within predefined timetables and standards.
