Preschool Open Doors Program Specialist II, Oahu
Responsible for; reviewing, monitoring and tracking applications; processing and verifying income eligibility for program clients; accessing and entering information into DHS, Microsoft and online databases; and processing checks to clients. In Program Manager’s absence, acts as supervisor of program, overseeing program operations, supervising staff etc.

Requires excellent customer service and communication skills, both oral and written. Must be detail oriented, have knowledge of early childhood education and care issues, particularly relating to preschools and must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Supervisory experience preferred, associates degree in early childhood education, human services, family resources or related field and one year of experience in the early childhood education or care field or related required.
