Halekulani is seeking a TEMPORARY Part -time candidate for our in house Flower Shop. Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years experience in floral arrangement and design and/or certification in formal design such as Sogetsu, Contemporary, European & Bridal designs. Candidate must be highly organized, detail-oriented and have the ability to multi-task and work neatly. Must have ability to maintain positive guest relations at all times. Paying attention to keeping in line with budget, cost controls, financial, sales, management ,organizational skills required. Business equipment skills to include personal computer, knowledge of Microsoft & Excel, 10 key calculators.
Knowledge of proper lifting techniques and working with chemicals and understanding the compliance in OSHA regulations & safety priorities. Must be able to endure various physical movements throughout the work areas & shifts to include standing, walking, reaching, cutting, squatting, bending, lifting, sitting, reaching hand over hand during 8 hours shift with a good eye for details in touch, feel, sight and color coordinated
