Kamehameha Schools has a full-time, permanent position open for Client Services Manager (HR Manager) in Honolulu, HI. The successful candidate will have the knowledge and expertise to perform responsibilities in the following areas:

Client Engagement. Engage with key leaders to assess organizational needs, partner with HR-WIG as necessary to design appropriate HR programs and services and deliver programs to achieve intended results to build organizational capacity. Demonstrate ability to influence leaders and manager and be viewed as trusted HR advisor.

HR Programs and Services. Prepare and communicate HR programs and services to client teams. Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of HR programs and services, ability to address questions and issues, and ensure Client Services team is building skills and performing effectively. Provide ways to improve internal processes. Ensure flawless delivery of core HR programs and services: recruiting, employee relations, compensation, and performance management. Demonstrate strong understanding of federal and state employment laws, as well as all key functional areas of HR.

Talent Management. Drive programs to support overall talent management strategy to empower groups to achieve their goals and employees to realize their full potential. Key elements of an effective talent management strategy include: develop and implement workforce plans; staff development plans; programs to attract and retain key performers; and create programs to ensure leadership continuity.

Organizational Development. Consult with leaders and managers to optimize organizational performance, elevate manager capability, and maintain a positive and inspiring workplace.

Management: Effectively lead and develop team.

Position Requirements:
• Over 5 years of related work experience OR Over 7 years of directly related work experience in HR.
• Strong management skills to include demonstrated leadership ability, sound judgment, and ability to positively influence others at all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and critical thinking skills for effective problem solving.
• Effective change management agent.
• Strong interpersonal skills to include excellent verbal and written communication skills and effective presentation skills to communicate with all levels of clients (executive management, HR partners, external clients, etc).
• Proficiency in proactive, consultative approaches to effectively collaborate with client leaders and staff and HR management team.
• Appreciation for creativity and innovation to create program and improve processes.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and conflicting deadlines.
• Directly related experience in at least two functional HR areas – i.e. recruitment, employee relations, compensation, and/or organizational development.
• Excellent working knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
• Strong computer skills.
• Exceptional coaching skills.

Education Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree
• Preferred: Master's degree and/or SPHR
