Mid-Senior level Windows systems administrator
Comp TIA Security+ with working knowledge of IDS and IPS tools and appliances.
1+ years of experience in LAN/WAN environments

Description:
Duties involve working as part of a 24x7 security monitoring team--must be available to work any of the three shifts
Must currently have your Security+ certification
Responsible for monitoring system alerts and logs collected by automated tools. Monitors traffic for indications of security problems.
Perform first-level monitoring using Arcsight and related IDS/IPS tools.
Correlate and react to security events. Maintain and document communication with analysts using Remedy.
Evaluates vendor provided signature packages
Research current vulnerabilities and techniques to maintain security on the network.
Perform vulnerability scans of theater assets using standard Army tools
Administer and maintain IA hardware and systems. Be able to quickly respond and resolve outages.
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a DOD security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements. This position requires a Secret Clearance.
