Hawaii Student Housing (HSH) is seeking Resident Assistants (RAs). We operate two private, off-campus student dorms in Waikiki, the Hana and the Ohia. Positions are open at either property; however, all hiring is done centrally.
Work will being in mid-December and we especially need applicants who will be remaining on Oahu for the Winter Holiday Break or are willing to postpone any trips home until January.
Work commitment is about 15 hours a week. Compensation is housing.
Job duties include:
Staffing the front desk
Planning/coordinating events and activities for residents
Mediating conflicts between roommates
And otherwise assisting in the operations of the dorm in order to foster a safe and enjoyable res-life experience for our residents.
Requirements:
• Classification as a student in good standing at any Hawaii university or college.
• A minimum 2.5 GPA.
• Completed at least 30 credit hours by Spring Semester, 2010.
