The Customer Service Lead contributes to AlohaCare’s success by assisting the Customer Service Manager in executing department and operational goals. This job assists and supervises a team of associates to create and maintain the “Aloha Spirit” for our customers. The Customer Service Lead is responsible for modeling and acting in accordance with AlohaCare’s high standards and guiding principles in absence of the Customer Service Manager. The Lead Customer Service Representative is distinguished from the Customer Service Representative by the performance of more complex work assignments and lead responsibilities. Handle multiple projects simultaneously and use good judgment in prioritizing work assignments Models a “customer comes first” attitude and supervises employees to ensure they are delivering legendary customer service.
Primary Duties, Responsibilities and Competencies:
• 1-2 years of customer service experience required. Supervisory or senior level customer service experience preferred.
• Training new representatives
• Monitors the accuracy of information disseminated by the Customer Service team
• Alert Customer Service Manager and or the appropriate AlohaCare Department Managers of extraordinary, unusual, unprecedented, or inappropriate cases or situations
• Maintain proper documentation of issues, complaints conversations and resolutions in member or provider memo screens.
• Consistently demonstrate a responsibility to the Customer Service team as a whole, while presenting the AlohaCare product in a positive light
Required Licensure / Certification:
• High school diploma
Additional Job Requirements:
Business hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Monday through Friday. Must be available to work until 8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday to assist the Medicare population we service. Must be available to work weekends as required.
