JOB TITLE: Sales Representative
PRIMARY PURPOSE: Responsible for creating and maintaining a positive relationship with our customers by providing accurate sales quotes, precise order & delivery coordination with exceptional customer service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
A. SALES: Responsible for creating new customers and maintaining relationships with existing customer base through education and sales of existing product lines. Conducts outside sales visits to local businesses and independently provide accurate sales quotations and subsequent follow ups to close sales.
B. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Provide exceptional customer service while taking orders, creating invoices, coordinating & tracking pickup/deliveries.
C. PURCHASE ORDERS: Research best purchase prices, create purchase orders, and follow up on all orders to ensure timely delivery and accurate pricing.
D. GENERAL ADMIN & OTHER DUTIES: Responsible for, but not limited to, the following: Filing, copying, perform physical inventory, loading outbound orders, unloading, counting and re-stocking of new inventory items, and other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
College degree with at least 1 year of work experience, with primary responsibility in outside sales and customer service experience or equivalent education and work experience.
Must possess excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills, as well as strong organizational skills.
Must have working familiarity with computers and be proficient in MS Office.
Preferred experience working in a small business office environment.
