Position Description
- Senior Program Manager for multi-million dollar contract with Department of the Army in Hawaii
- Must be capable of planning, organizing, controlling and analyzing computer systems support requirements. Must be adept at development of implementation plans to support military operations through major network enterprises supported by widespread computer systems and sub-networks
- Serves as primary corporate interface to contracting officer’s representative (COR) and technical points of contact (TPOC) within a military organization
- Requires the ability to administer to a comprehensive project while ensuring that proper responsibilities are assigned for technical/lead managers, systems analysts, / and evaluators. These tasks encompass evaluating courses of action, and recommending plans for implementation for enterprise-wide ADP and office automation; comprehensive system software life-cycle planning and development
- Ensures project timelines, schedules, milestones and budgets are adhered to
- Interfaces daily with technical leads and branch chiefs to establish priorities, allocate resources, and monitor technical, schedule, cost, and quality performance
- Is vested with corporate-level management responsibility and authority
- Responsible for ensuring performance verification, peer reviews, and validation are accomplished for products. Services and deliverables.
- Corporate management structure extends corporate-level support and resources to senior managers. For this program, PM will leverage our existing program support organizations with a tailored customer account team comprising recruiting, human resources (HR), financial, and administrative personnel.
- Provides timely Monthly Status Reports, Cost Status Reporting, metrics reporting, and deliverables planning to corporate senior managers for review and ultimate delivery
- Provides reporting and accountability for all quality control (QC) and surveillance activities
- Responsible for directing efforts of subcontractors and consultants
- Conducts contract meetings with key personnel and subcontractors
- Approves all hiring and assignment of personnel
- Has full program responsibility and authority for on-site decision making.
Specific Qualifications
- PMP certification with program management experience with large projects
- Bachelors degree in business management, management information systems or computer science
- Minimum of six years of experience with network management required
- Information Assurance (IA) Certification at the IT-III or IAT-III level
- CCNA certification required within six months of employment
- Technical knowledge of networks, systems and applications of the U.S. Army LANDWARNET
- CISCO router familiarity helpful
- Demonstrated success in interacting with customers while cooperatively meeting or exceeding performance standards for IT services
