Organizes and manages scope, schedule and costs of medium to large cross-functional business and or technical projects utilizing standard project management methodologies and practices
Develops, maintains and reports project status to all levels of management
Provides guidance and coaching to team members on project management practices and assigned tasks
Many provide vendor management during project implementation phase and ensure transition to operational team at project closure
Facilitates activities to support projects including FRP/RFI development, vendor selection and contracting
Assists with the development of project management standards and templates for the organization
Responsible for the successful planning and execution of a project
Possess a combination of skills including an ability to lead team members, facilitate meetings, ask penetrating questions, detect unstated assumptions, and resolve interpersonal conflicts as well as more systematic management skills
Ability to successfully lead others beyond having technical project management experience
Serves as focal point for all project matters and responsible for meeting project related objectives
Manages issues and risks and facilitates alternatives analysis activities to resolve/mitigate impact to project scope, schedule and or budget
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in business, management information technology or related field
7+ years related experience including experience related to enterprise system level deployment
Comprehensive knowledge and application of project management principles and SDLC
