1975 Rhodes 19 Sailboat, fiberglass, sloop rig day sailer, keel model. 19 ft LOA, 7 ft beam. Mast is about 28 feet. Seats 4 comfortably, 6 if you want to take the family out and don't mind sitting close. Has enough of a cabin area to put a couple of folks under cover during a rain. 380 pound bulb keel makes it very stable... if you can roll this boat over, you have to mean it... and it'll probably sill pop back up. Guys I used to sail with at Hickam used to take a pack of the rentals inter-island... to rich for my blood, but I salute the effort!
Full sails, safety gear, kicker motor. Complete, year long, out of water, rebuild in 2006. Top and bottom paint, ribs, rigging, new floor boards, keel fairing... you name it, it got attention. Airplane mechanic... go figure.
Now the bad news... No trailer!!!! Must be either sailed to its new home and slipped in the water, or placed on a dolly that I dont have anymore! One can be built, but I don't have it!
Selling cheap (I've got more in the paint and rigging than what I'm asking for it) due to military relocation. Do a Google search and see what they bring if I'd have been smart enough to ship it to the mainland before I left. It's been cared for by a good friend since I left, but I don't have recent pics... I assume it to be in nearly as good a shape as when I left in 06 (yeh, tell me about it... 3 years of slip fees in hopes of getting back to the islands... don't mention it to my wife). But it's time to let go...
