I have started a Charitable Auction of one of my best paintings. The painting is medium size 18"W X 14"H and is in Acrylic. It depicts a Pre-Contact Native Hawaiian Pounding Poi near Diamond Head on an Oahu Beach. A considerable portion of the total sale price will go to a local education based non-profit. Education is the gift that keeps on giving so that is why I chose that. This painting is the first in a long series of ancient Hawaiian Historical paintings of pre contact everyday life. initially 15% of the sale will go to charity however if the auction price reaches the appraised value the charity percentage will double to 30% ! Additionally I have agreed to produce a smaller 5"x7" figure painting of a Wahine (woman) with a special Mahalo Nui Loa written in Hawaiian customized to you or your as the winning bidder.
