Primary Responsibility:
Responsible for planning and implementing the Tutu and Me Program designed curriculum for caregivers and keiki; working closely with team members to ensure that a quality program is being delivered and that the needs of caregivers and keiki are being met.


Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for planning and implementing the Tutu and Me curriculum for caregivers and keiki.
As the team leader, responsible for overseeing teaching assistants and for all reports as required by management.
Working closely with the assessment specialist to understand and meet specific needs of caregivers and keiki.
Establishing a good rapport with caregivers and children, interacting frequently with participants; modeling, facilitating and supporting growth in children and caregivers.
Occasional travel to the neighbor islands for training.
Occasional participation in weekend community events and educational workshops.
Other duties as assigned


Minimum Requirements:
B.A. in E.C.E. preferred, and 2 years experience working with young children.
Must be able to life and carry up to 40 lbs. on a daily basis.
Free of any criminal or traffic convictions.
Experience working with a diversity of cultural backgrounds, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work with people.
Ability to handle confidential information; be a team player.
Ability to believe in PID’s mission and translate the words into daily actions, demonstrate a commitment to working as a team member while achieving Program goals and following PID’s values.
