General
The boards and accessory test manager (BTM) will aid in the development of kitesurfing boards, and accessories. The BTM will work with the various designers to provide design assistance, and manage the testing process of all boards, accessories and their associated components.
The position will also include the managing of the online support section of our website.
Experience / Skills
- The BTM shall aid in the creative and technical aspects of board and accessory design and development.
- The BTM should have a keen knowledge of the various processes used to build surfboards, and kiteboards.
- Kiteboarding and Surfing skills at a competent level are required.
- The BTM should be an organized, self motivated person with the ability to work well in a team.
A large part of the position requires the BTM to consolidate test results and rider feedback from a large pool of riders and opinion leaders.
Must have competent computer skills in the following areas:
Communication programs such as standard e-mail and Skype.
Word processing programs such as Microsoft Word.
Spreadsheet programs such as Excel or Numbers.
Internet programs such as Firefox, or Safari.
Location
The Board and Test Manager’s position is based in Maui, Hawaii. He /she should be available to
spend periods of time in China, Hong Kong, and in test locations outside of Maui.
