Tommy Bahama defines elegant tropical living with men's and women's fashions, denim, swimwear, accessories and a complete home furnishings collection. Tommy Bahama, the purveyor of island lifestyles, is looking for qualified Floor Merchandiser to join our team.

PURPOSE

Defines merchandising and presentation solutions in order to drive sales and maximize business goals. Works in
partnership with the store management team to ensure brand initiatives meet the established expectations,
guidelines, and necessary adaptations specific to the region or market.

KEY RESULT AREAS

People:
• Maintain two-way communication with appropriate partners regarding visual merchandising and store
maintenance.
• Greet all guests with a genuine/authentic smile and personalized offer to help with their shopping needs when
appropriate.
• Share visual merchandising and brand knowledge with store team members to help improve their skills.

Profit:
In partnership with the Store Manager:
• Analyze and respond to business trends, assortment needs, and guest feedback on a weekly basis to
maximize sales.
• Plan, map, and execute merchandise placement.
• Verify merchandise status with the Stock Coordinator and ensure the status’ coincides with merchandise
placement plan(s.)

Product:
• Learn, reference, and apply product knowledge information obtained from various sources such as coworkers,
seasonal buy strategy and visual documents, company Intranet, product labels, and Product
Knowledge binder.
• Embrace brand direction by providing product knowledge to guests and employees on a daily basis.
• Be a strong ambassador of the brand by personally representing the season’s trends and key items for the
business.

Presentation
• Consistently apply visual presentation standards and philosophy as communicated in visual merchandising
documents.
• Ensure store presentation reflects the Tommy Bahama brand and local market/guest base.

PARADISE
• Embrace, articulate, and reflect the PARADISE Core Values.
• Demonstrate the Tommy Bahama PARADISE Core Values in all business decisions and actions.

EXPERIENCE, TALENT AND EDUCATION

• 2+ years visual merchandising
• Retail experience
• Guest service experience
• Open to travel
