well its true, but most animals can be dangerous, not just pitts...i should have clarified that. every animals has its natural instinct, including the pitt bull. i think maybe why people are scared of them is because they are such strong animals (there jaws mostly speaking), plus there natural insticnts. they can be pretty protective...
Like my sister has a pitt, it was brought up good......never taught to fight or anything. one day a friend came over and went near her( my sis) and she (the dog) jumped up and tried to bite him (the friend). and she is the sweetest girl ever...to us anyways.
but some dogs are like that, no matter the breed. so maybe its just cause they're powerul dogs....who know. but i dont think they should ban them.........people just need to treat the dogs right.
like not leaving them in cages all day, getting plently exersice, love, and affection. pretty much eveyone i know that has pitts keep them couped up all the time....maybe that has something to do with there rage??
