i9 Sports Coorporation, the nation's largest youth sports franchise is seeking a skilled Youth Sports Site Coordinator for the hilo area. Overall Job Description: The i9Sports Site Coordinator is a hands-on role responsible for managing the game day preparations for the corporate-owned, local sports programs. This role is responsible for ensuring a positive game day experience for all involved. Duties/Responsibilities: Oversee the game day operations of youth sports leagues, set up and break down for game day events, provide a point of contact for all on-field inquiries, Manage/Direct a group of volunteer coaches to ensure a positive experience for both the players and parents, Serve as the on-field Official/Referee liaison, Organize equipment for game day distribution, Ensure the integrity of the brand, Perform other duties and special projects as required.
Requirements: Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), Ability to efficiently solve problems, Excellent organization skills and the ability to multi-task, Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently, Must possess a valid driver's license and own vehicle capable of transporting large objects, Superior customer service skills, Positive attitude and a strong ability to build professional business relationships, Ability to work half-day Saturdays for the entire season and several evening meetings, Ability to lift 50 lb.s.
