Start ASAP, Monday and Thursdays, hike 1250 ft. elevation. Start at Bay Front, finish atop Mauna Loa. At 2500 ft a week, will be at 10,000 feet in a month. Then, another 1000 feet to 11,000 ft. at the Mauna Loa Observatory, from there it's 2700 fet to the summit, a overnight at the cave and a day hike to the summit. Hope for the summit on my B-day, Dec 17. Have Ground crew. Looking for a hiking partner. jimsir1@gmail.com
